Read receiptsWhen off, people won't see blue ticks or Jhalak views from you, and you won't see theirs. Groups always show read ticks.
Show when I'm onlineOnly people you have a 1-to-1 chat with see it, never anyone you blocked. If you turn it off, you won't see when others are online either.
Link previewsShow a picture and title for links you send. Ellidiya fetches the page for you and puts the preview inside your encrypted message, so the person you send it to never contacts that website.
Protect my IP address in callsCalls go through Ellidiya's relay, so the other person can't see your internet address. Quality may be a little lower on weak networks.
Disappearing messages for new chatsChats you start from now on begin with this timer. Each chat can be changed from its menu.

Linked devices

Use Ellidiya on up to 4 computers. Each one is approved from this phone, and you can remove it any time. Signing in on a new phone with an SMS code removes them all.

New broadcast list

Send one message to many people at once. Each person gets it as a normal 1-to-1 message from you and can't see who else got it. Only people you already chat with can be added, so nobody gets messages out of the blue.

Bots

Bots answer automatically. A bot can message you only after you start it, never sees your phone number, and you can stop it any time from its chat menu.

Bot Studio

Make a bot for your shop, class or team, and connect it to your own server with the Bot API. People who start it can get updates, alerts and answers from it.

How the Bot API works

Every call needs the header Authorization: Bot <token>. Base address: https://api.ellidiya.com/api

An update arrives when someone starts your bot ("type": "start"), writes to it, or taps a button ("button" holds its data). With a webhook, each update is posted to your server, signed with X-Ellidiya-Signature: sha256=HMAC(signing secret, body).

Limits, so nobody gets spammed: a bot can only write to people who started it, up to 30 messages an hour to one chat, 120 a minute and 5,000 a day in all. People can stop or report a bot at any time.
